Dr. Elsa Herrera Bautista

Elsa Herrera Bautista is a social psychologist with a PhD in sociology from the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP) in Mexico. She has collaborated with civil society organisations focused on promoting the rights of children and adolescents and is currently a lecturer at the BUAP’s Faculty of Plastic and Audiovisual Arts. Her main line of research is the relationship between art and human rights, including processes such as human rights education, protest, reparation for harm and (re)building of communities.
