Esther Yin-Nei Cho is an Associate Professor in the School of Social Sciences and Director of the Children and Youth Research Centre at Saint Francis University, Hong Kong. Her research interests focus on the wellbeing of children and young people. Her scholarly work spans a range of areas, including immobility (non-migration) of younger stayers, comparative child wellbeing, child poverty, comparative child benefits, financial literacy and wellbeing among ethnic minority young adults, transition to work for ethnic minority youth, and defamilisation and the economic wellbeing of women.
